Oasis Therapies is dedicated to providing massage based treatments of the highest quality, tailored to suit the needs of each individual.

Previously based in Gowerton and Brynmill, OASIS was founded in 2008 by Cheryl Bendle VTCT Dip.MICHT,

About Indian Head Massage

The art of Indian Head Massage is an Ayurvedic form of healing and relaxation used widely in Asia by masseurs and hairdressers to help combat daily stresses and tension. Using techniques such as acupressure and shiatsu, the upper-back, shoulders and arms, neck, head and face are worked over using a variety of massage pressures and techniques and it is one of the most relaxing types of massage you will ever experience.

Ideal for neck and shoulder tension, the massage starts on the back and neck, working deeply over the muscles and pressure points that help the muscles to relax.
Moving on to the scalp, massage techniques are used which relax, stimulate and revive this area, hence why I.H.M may prove beneficial for stimulating hair growth and revitalizing the brain, as to help with concentration. The whole scalp is worked over to encourage circulation, oxygen and nutrients to the area.
Finally, the soothing facial massage is performed which encourages sinus drainage whilst at the same time, helping alleviate symptoms of tension/ stress headaches.

Oasis Therapies Indian Head Massage treatments do not include the use of any oils, and proves to be most popular with office workers and computer users on their lunch hours.
Throughout treatment, our clients remain fully clothed, so it is advised clients wear loose and suitably comfortable clothing.
