About Aromatherapy |
Aromatherapy can help with a whole range of problems from injury and illness, to stress-related conditions. Infact, there probably isn't a condition that some form of aromatherapy can't help with.
At OASIS, we perform aromatherapy massage treatments, which combines the use of top-quality essential oils, mixed with a suitable carrier oil, in order to perform a thoroughly relaxing and deeply therapeutic massage.
The use of essential oils is what makes all the difference to the treatments.
Essential oils are extremely strong and powerful oils, which have been extracted from all sorts of natural plant-life (such as flowers, trees, herbs, spices etc). They have been found to provide both psychological and physical benefits when used correctly and safely. A few examples are: Lavender for relaxation (psychological), Tea-Tree for dandruff and scalp conditions (physical), Peppermint for mental fatigue and depression (psychological) and Geranium for regulating the body's hormonal system (physical).
After your aromatherapy appointment, it is advised you wait at least 8 hours to bathe in order to ensure that the oils have had optimum time to be absorbed into the blood stream, for maximum benefits.
