Essential oils are extremely strong and powerful oils, which have been extracted from all sorts of natural plant-life (such as flowers, trees, herbs, spices etc). They have been found to provide both psychological and physical benefits when used correctly and safely.

A few examples are: Lavender for relaxation (psychological), Tea-Tree for dandruff and scalp conditions (physical), Peppermint for mental fatigue and depression (psychological) and Geranium for regulating the body's hormonal system (physical).

After your aromatherapy appointment, it is advised you wait at least 8 hours to bathe in order to ensure that the oils have had optimum time to be absorbed into the blood stream, for maximum benefits.
